Breaking news! WETA just released its limited edition statuette of Bombur. 

Even if you’re not into shelling out the dineros ($250!) to collect these things, the attention to detail is still absolutely stunning. You can see all the textures and colors and details on the costumes, without having to squint at screencaps and promo stills. They’re probably the best source for reference, imho.
