A glimpse of the dwarves of The Jeweler’s Guild (?) in Erebor, from the production blog. I believe that’s Peter Jackson in full dwarf-costume on the right.
And this is one of the things that drives me to obsession over the Hobbit film; not the hot dwarves (okay, they’re definitely a bonus!), but all the beautiful details and thought and craftsmanship that went into creating it. This scene here got all of a fraction of a second of screentime in the finished movie, yet take a LOOK at those beautiful costumes: the tooled leather, the buckles and layers, the tools and the eye-loupe, and even the runes on the dwarf’s jacket indicating his guild and rank. That’s art right there.
